The Clift Royal Sonesta San Francisco Hotel

Immaculately clean place with worth every penny view of downtown. Really nice restaurant, with good service.

the location was great and absolutely incredible - an easy walk to everywhere we wanted to go. the fact that powell street tube station was some 5 minutes away was a plus. the restaurant was excellent for the food they served, we tried delicious dishes. it featured a bright decor and included a luxury bathroom.

A cool hotel, I loved it, staff was accommodating. I ate at a great restaurant with good service. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and there was a luxurious bathroom.

The room was very spacious and beautiful, bathroom however very small. Good beds. The location all right, within walking distance of Union Square and Market Street.

Parking is only possible on the basis of valet at high rates. Otherwise you have to park your car somewhere in a public parking garage. Hotel had scaffolding in front of the door, is not such a nice entry.

We would recommend this hotel, spent here good 3 nights. It was exceptionally clean and chic place with nice staff and location. The location of the venue was comfy - not very far from Year Up. Moreover, the area was nice!

Comfortable room, excellent location, with expansive rooms that provided great amenities like free wi-fi and a bar/lounge area, all just a short walk from Powell Street.

Very nice rooms and general decoration of the hotel. The staff was very helpful. The bustling center with many nice restaurants are within walking distance.

Unfortunately, our bathroom was a bit outdated, you could see that especially by the worn bottom ...

Everything! Beautiful room, nice lobby, restaurant and red bar is great! There is a nice atmosphere!

You can only pay by credit card! No debit cards are accepted. staff is nice everywhere except at the reception!

Excellent location, modest up-to-budget but stylish design.

Terrible noise from the street. Only one layer of glass on a window leaves gaps. I would strongly recommend to the hotel to put double glass windows!! NIghtmare!!

great location but could improve on cleanliness

The location is ideal. I found the rooms spacious and comfortable. The excellent customer service at the front desk left a lasting impression. The city view from my window was great.

I noticed some areas of the hotel could use a more thorough cleaning .

fantastic access to union square and local eateries
